The North Westdale Neighborhood Association fosters community spirit and civic participation amongst those who live and work in our neighborhood.
On discovering that the website for my neighborhood association looks straight out of the 1990s, I redesigned it using HTML5 and CSS to give it a contemporary accessible appearance and logical organizational structure with a responsive attractive layout and fixed social bar. I added new pages and features to facilitate stakeholder participation and awareness using PHP and SQL to manage a database for user submissions and newsletter archives. I researched websites of nearby neighborhood associations to inform my redesign, and insodoing updated content and resources.
